Glass objects are objects that are semi transparent.  You may find that not only are glass objects difficult to select and move but they are also difficult to texture. 

To select and move a glass objects, simply hold down the Ctrl key when clicking on it. Do the same when dragging textures onto glass objects, simply hold the ctrl key before dropping the texture onto the object.
